Overview:

This course helps students apply both their technical computer skills and knowledge of design elements and principles toward the development of design graphics. Assignments include concept-building exercises with particular emphasis on typography. Emphasis is also placed on the function, meaning and purpose of design.

 

Current Project:

GD I students are currently working on a book cover project with students from Shaw Heights Middle School in Westminster, Colo.

Semester Overview:
This course is intended to provide students with a comprehensive view of the various facets of theater design including set, lighting, costume and sound design, as well as help students develop conceptual and practical skills/competencies in these areas.


Current Project:
Design for the Theater students are currently working on developing design concepts for Hamlet.
