The Best House Ever
My mom's parents moved to Slalom Lane, Valparaiso, Indiana, over 30 years ago moving from out East. Though my mom was already in college when they made the move, the house pictured above became home for the four siblings and my grandparents. As one of the grandkids, the house has had special meaning for me too and has earned a place within my top places on earth. It's a dearly beloved building for me and the family, one with many stories and memories, and though it's hard to see it leave the scene as my grandparents move again, I hope that the next family to live in it can fully appreciate the wonderful structure it is.
