Freshman Year- Tried out for the team and did not make the team. I decided that I wanted to be a part of the team so I became the manager. It was a year that I told myself I can better and make it the following year. I had to do the laundry, water boy duties, run the camera and more. This I also gave me opportunities to practice a lot on my game and shooting skills.

Sophomore- Made the Junior Varsity team. I came off the bench and was basically a garbage player, which means a person who does the little things on the court that is not recorded on paper like taking charges, diving for loose balls, etc.  I enjoyed my first year of playing high school basketball.

Junior Year- Made the Varsity team. I came off the bench throughout the whole year. I did not get the playing time that I wanted. I was able to contribute to the team by scoring three pointers. I was playing behind some good players. The hardest thing was to accept my role on the team. It was a good year learning the game.

Senior Year- Made the Varsity team and finally broke the starting line-up. I average about 11 points per game. I had a career high against a rival team, scoring 27 points. I was arguably one of the best players on the team. I had a great senior year. I was definitely looking forward to playing in college. At NPHS I was awarded the Most Improved Player award.
