Goshen College | COMM326 | Fall 2010 > Project 2

Hey all--I'm Trisha and for three months I traveled and lived in the country of Cambodia. For the first month and half I studied the Khmae language and culture in the capital, Phnom Penh.

The second half I traveld south to the city of Kampot to serve with the NGO Devi House and teach English in a small village. Both halves I lived with Khmer families, calling them mom, dad, brother and sister. I was known as Ming Trisha, or Aunt Trisha.

I was also able to travel to the temple ruins of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap and visit the mass graves of the killing fields. Within those three months I grew to love the people, culture, and country greatly, and it is an experience that I will take with me the rest of my life.

By navagating through this website I will atempt to take you through the journey as I experienced it through pictures.
